Finally!

After an entire winter without any snow it finally came - a blizzard. The high country saw up to five feet of snow and around Prescott we averaged from a foot to fourteen inches. It was very welcome moisture for a forest stressed by the lack of any significant rain/snow since the middle of October.
With the snow came the kind of wind that creates avalanche conditions. Larry had his own cornice and pillow that are the essential elements to the avalanche formula. See photos below:
