Ponderosa Paradise

In 1864 California had it's Gold Rush and now Prescott has it's Pine Rush. California folks have been migrating to this area for at least twenty years now to escape Californication. Guess the Fienstein/Boxer/Willie Brown environment "over there" is nowhere near as pleasant as our Mayberry pine scented town. So what Californian's have headed our way? Just this past week, Linda Long, Larry's former secretary and her friend Bill Knoll, plus Judy and Robert Verri from San Diego paid Larry a visit. Robert and Judy were here to look for three acres of ponderosa paradise. Linda and Bill came along to keep them company, plus head on over to New Mexico with their sail plane to catch some thermo nuclear powered "thermals".

They all arrived on Tuesday, April 18 with Bill and Linda leaving on Friday, April 21 for NM. Robert and Judy stayed behind to look at property with Larry's neighbor across the street, Chris Larson. Chris was just named "Rookie Realtor Of The Year" for this past year in Prescott. Robert and Judy fell in love a great place in the pines of the Mountain Club on the very first day. No, it was not three acres in the pines as that is only a dream that Bill Gates could have.

Now that the contract has been written for the ponderosa paradise, is it too late to tell them we have a Senator McCain who is just as "bad" as the Fienstein/Boxer/Willie Brown trio?!
